Working with acrylic paint in vibrant colours which is applied by knife, Carole creates floral themed pieces on canvas, she is based in West Dorset in the UK where she works from her garden studio overlooking the Frome valley. Carole works with multiple layers of colour which are added and then removed to create depth of colour and texture.

 As a passionate gardener she uses her garden as an inspiration for some of her works. Clients often commission her to paint their gardens or favourite plants and flowers.

An Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and a Professional Associate at the Society for All Artists. In 2014 Carole was named the Aspire Magazine Group 'Acrylic Artist of the Year. Her photographic and art work is used in books, newsprint and magazines and in advertising around the world.

Carole also teaches adult learners at all levels of experience in workshops and on a one to one basis. she makes presentations to art groups and run workshops on request. Carole uses art therapeutically with people experiencing mental health issues or with learning difficulties or physical challenges, she is also a trained therapeutic gardening practitioner and is working towards a Royal Horticultural Society qualification in garden design and plant growth

Her work is shown in galleries and local exhibitions including Bridport and West Dorset Open Studios, Local galleries display her work throughout the year, ranging from solo exhibitions to year round displays

Having painted since childhood she comes from a family 'sprinkled' with artists from whom she learned many of the core skills,  Carole also works alongside other professional artists and says she always learns new techniques, she was most recently at  The Newlyn School of Art >
