Profile

Mara is a barrister by training but has always painted and now recently have become involved in stonecarving.  her artwork is a mixture of oil and acrylics and is usually based on places she has lived in or spent a lot of time in such as Greece and Italy.  Norfolk/Suffolk has also proved fruitful leading her to use sand and slate for stylistic variety.  A friend introduced her to stonecarving and she has worked with Carrara marble, onyx, alabaster and Zimbabwean opal.
