A self taught Botanical Illustrator artist, Gillian started painting as a child and has a real passion for the subjects she paints, this has been built up over the years by setting herself challenging projects, which has increased her experience and skill in Botanical art this being her real passion.

Living in the beautiful Wye Valley in Monmouthshire Wales and raising a family whilst holding down a professional career means her very busy life has to have something which takes her away from work and allows her relax, her art achieves this for her.  

The countryside and garden allows her to observe and record local flowers and vegetables so that there is a better appreciation for painting the subject, Gillian has wanted to put this skill into some use and has now made her work public.
