Hilary uses oils and acrylics to explore how light, shadow and the changing seasons profoundly alters familiar views from day to day and season to season. Sometimes a path through a field or a field corner are ample inspiration, but, at other times, she paints more dramatic landscapes, both real and imaginary.
This year Hilary plucked up the courage to join Cambridge Open Studios and, as a result, was pleased to be invited to a joint exhibition to raise money for East Anglian Children's Hospices. She held her first Open Studio in July and in December she joined other artists for a joint exhibition at the Wildlife Trust office in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. It has been a really positive and succesful year. Hilary hopes you enjoy browsing through her pictures and if you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact her.
