Paul was born in Luton, in 1969 and is currently living in Poole, Dorset.

He is self-taught and began painting in 2006.
Having never had any art lessons he used knowledge gained from watching artists on TV and studying classical paintings in galleries, absorbing information that felt right to him.

Paul began by painting his favourite actors. He was fortunate to meet one
of these actors who admired his painting and kindly autographed it.
Now, over 80 paintings later, Roger Moore (James Bond actor) and Cheryl Cole (TV presenter) both have his art in their homes.

Paul has continued to receive high praise for his art from celebrities such as
The Dalai Lama, Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Jennifer Lopez, Pamela Anderson, Dustin Hoffman and many other world famous people.

Paul was also invited to paint live in Selfridges in London throughout April 2010.

When Dustin Hoffman saw his portrait of him he said:
"Oh my God you have great talent!"
Joan Collins said the portrait of her was: "One of the best I have ever seen".

Paul has now extended my repertoire to paint private commissions for clients
based on photographs from personal special occassions.
Ranging from fine art portraits to figurative and abstract art, he has painted for clients around the world from Australia to USA.

Paul paints in acrylic on canvas, in a soft, elegant style, with great compassion
for his subject. He likes to feel the soul of the subject and bring it through
in the painting. Painting is also very much about listening to your feelings.
Paul cares about his paintings very much and every brush stroke is made with
a lot of love and care.

Paul also practices the complementary therapy of Reiki healing and he likes to think the positive, loving energy of Reiki imprints into his paintings.

Latest news: 

a German national TV station (RTL, they are like 'ITV') made a short film about his art, it was broadcast all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland on national TV.
