Annette received her first real watercolour box at age 10 and drew and painted up to 'A' level. She went to Coventry College specialising in painting and sculpture but left and then worked as a screen print designer before having a family. Annette returned to college for 4 years, studying Textile Design and Embroidery where she was re-introduced to Printmaking.
Two years design master classes in London and print study at West Dean, Knuston Hall and local studios followed. She is a member of the Fellowship of Professional and Amateur Artist, she holds their diploma, and have just been awarded Fellowship status; and of the Northamptonshire Guild of Designer Craftsmen.
Drawing & painting since childhood, then college, Annette began work as a screen-print designer. Family followed, then returning to college studying textiles. Re-introduced to printmaking, her work now incorporates print, paint & stitch. Exhibitions include Birdscapes, Norfolk and The Mall & Bankside Gallery in June 2010 . Annette works is in private collections in Scotland, Wales, England and South Africa
